TONIGHT! Thursday February 18th

KEY BISCAYNE: The Virginia Key Grass Roots Festival kicks off tonight at 4pm and runs through Sunday at 11pm. With over 50 bands, four stages, and on-site beach camping, this festival is great if you’re into both the outdoors and music. WYNWOOD: A dose of dance and Spanish culture is a great way to blow off some steam after a long week. Ole! A Night of Flamenco will feature performers from the upcoming Adrienne Arsht Center’s Flamenco Festival, Spanish-themed tapas provided by culinary pop-ups, and Sangria selections from Thyme Bar. The event begins at 7pm and ends at 10pm, and is free and open to the public. Saturday, February 20th

COCONUT GROVE: Salvador Dali is like the Karl Lagerfield of the art world so head to the Hello Dali show to see why his eccentric art still inspires emerging artists today. Taking place at the Bird Road Art Show, which takes place on the third Saturday of every month, a group of artists have created Dali inspired art and each piece includes a picture of Dali’s face somewhere in it (perfect for a sesh of Where’s Waldo). It will take place from 7 pm to 10 pm.

SOUTH MIAMI: Another local art show happening this weekend, the South Miami Rotary Art Festival will shut down a good portion of Sunset Drive.  Browse exhibitions by 150 different artists while testing out different food vendors from across the globe. There will also be a beer garden and open jam session for aspiring musicians. The event is free and open to the public, and will take place on Saturday from 10am to 6pm and on Sunday from 10 am to 5 pm. South Miami Rotary Art Festival

MIAMI BEACH: Support the Bass Museum of Art by attending their Keep the Ball Rolling… Party, which will begin at 9pm. Enjoy a performance by South African artist, Athi-Patra Ruga, which will include elaborate costumes and choreography. To get an idea of his aesthetic, head this way. The dresscode is Whimsical Black tie and there will be a contest honoring the people with the best outfits. Tickets are $125 and can be purchased here.

Sunday February 21st
