Today I am going to share with you my top 3 favorite Cuban places to see in Miami. Latin America has a heavy influence in the architecture and culture in Miami. This city is infused with many luxurious Cuban restaurants, buildings, and parks.

It is important to stand back and appreciate them.

1. Freedom Tower (600 Biscayne Blvd; +1-305-237-7700)

Built in 1925, this Spanish-style landmark once housed Miami News. It was also known as the processing center for Cuban immigrants. It is now the Miami Dade County Museum of Art+Design. There are many beautiful installations and exhibits inside to enjoy.

2. Ermita de la Caridad (3609 South Miami Ave.; +1-305-854-2404)

This is a national shrine dedicated to Cuba’s patron saint, la Caridad del Cobre. This site is ornate and surrounded by water, as if it can float away at any moment.

3. De La Cruz Collection Contemporary Art Space (23 NE 41st St.; +1-305-576-6112)

This art museum is located in Miami’s Design District and is privately owned, but free to the public. It features many standout Cuban artists over the decades.
