As you know I love giving my readers the low down on what’s happening in Miami! With any city there are always activities and events open to the public to check out.

I just love recommending good eats and new art galleries to see. Good thing I am here to source out these hotspots for you!

Today I am going to break down for you a wonderful Saturday in Miami Design District and get you ready for the weekend!

Lets start with breakfast! Make your way over to downtown and make your own breakfast sandwich at Manolo & Rene Cafeteria. Located on 281 NE 1st St, Miami, FL 33132.

After a filling breakfast it is time for some retail therapy! The Design District in Miami is bursting with luxurious and high-end shops. This kind of shopping exudes pure excellence. Think names like Cartier, Hermes, Bulgari, and Louis Vuitton, all surrounding you.

After all this shopping might as well think about filling your house with beautiful things too! Take a look at our Antiquities Gallery!

After running around all morning sit down and have an amazing lunch at Michael’s Genuine. This restaurant is a must and high on my list to check out! All of the dishes are made with fresh and local ingredients. This place really makes you appreciate Miami cuisine. They are located on 130 NE 40th Street, Miami 33137.

After lunch you just must take advantage of the Design District by gazing at the beautiful Wynwood Walls. Also take a look inside the Adamar Fine Arts Gallery. Enjoy some contemporary artists like Roy Lichtenstein and Andy Warhol.

After wrapping up your visual arts intake its time to consume some alcoholic beverages at the bar! Get the real Miami local experience and laid-back vibe at the Wood Tavern located on 2531 NW 2nd Ave, Miami, 33127.

Now that you have got a few drinks in its time for some dancing and live music at The Stage! Here you will find an artsy atmosphere and chill vibes. After all that dancing grab a snack instead of a nightcap at any of the various food trucks you will find around the Design District.

Now go out there and have an eventful weekend in the wonderful Miami Design District.
