The Institute for Contemporary Art, Miami (ICA Miami) has recently topped out in the city’s Design District. The three-story building with double-height ceilings is now on track for a late 2017 opening, according to an announcement from the museum. The Institute of Contemporary Art is currently operating out of the nearby Moore Building.

The independently funded museum will comprise 20,000 square feet of exhibition space and a 15,000-square-foot outdoor sculpture garden. A total of 37,000 square feet! ICA Miami is being designed by Aranguren & Gallegos Arquitectos.

The ICA will work ad the design hub for this luxurious neighborhood, gathering artistic minds from all over the world. This will be yet another cultural resource for Miami, sharing the work of some of the most innovative artists of our time. We cannot wait for it to open this coming year!
